The Oakdale Chocolate Factory is closing down and going to Mexico. This month is the last chance to get in a tour before they leave town. All tours have to be school associated, so I'm scheduling a Phi Sig tour associated with CSU Stanislaus.

http://www.hersheys.com/discover/oakdale.asp

Want to join me?
Children and guests are welcome too.
Tour is about 1 hour. Then you get a free candy bar!!
No strollers allowed. Noone with peanut allergies will be admitted.

Due to limited parking, carpooling is strongly encouraged!!
You MUST provide me with your license plate number by Thursday so I can fax all numbers to Hershey's. Cars who are not on the list will NOT be allowed to enter. :( Please include license plate numbers in eVite response or email me seperately.

On Thursday, August 23rd at BMW in Modesto you can Drive for the Cure. You can sign up starting 7/26/07 at http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/EventsandPrograms/UDSK/registration.htm?zipcode=95356&marketuid=LSMAR964990

I think spots will go fast. You can enter your e-mail after clicking the link below and they will notify you when sign ups begin.

Basically, you sign up to drive a BMW (such a horrible task :) and for every mile you drive BMW gives the Susan B. Komen Foundation $1. I think you also get to sign the signature car.

Events are also in:
Pleasanton on Friday, August 24th
Santa Clara on Sunday, August 26th It's for a good cause.

Name: Phi Sigma Sigma Central Valley Alumnae

This is a painless fundraiser. There is no cost to participate. We have about 9 people currently signed up and 4 of those people frequently shop at participating stores. Just shop at participating stores and sign up your Grocery Savings Cards.

So far those four people have raised over $150.00 through October 2005. Think how much money we could raise if 10 or 15 more people signed up.

We are currently using this money to fund a scholarship for Theta Mu.

Please sign up today if you can.
