Christine got her baby, Penelope on her Jan 2003 visit to Turlock. Penelope was rescued from the pound.
In May 03 Christine adopted a pit bull puppy from the animal shelter. Her name is Butterfly and she is 6 months old. She and Penelope get a long really well. Christine really likes having 2 dogs because they entertain each other. Butterfly is a sweet heart and she is quite calm for a puppy, not at all like Tink. Butterfly adopted a kitten with a head injury from the vet clinic where I take the girls for daycare, she nurses him, it's very strange. So of course I had to take the kitten home. I named him Michael after my brother because I knew that would annoy him. Oliver is now a free range rabbit and he is very happy. There is an alfalfa field next to my house, so he has plenty to eat. I absolutely love it here!
